We’re on our way west

11 August 2013

Greetings dear friends and readers,

Today we left for our trip out west to Colorado and South Dakota.

We arrived at Newark airport just in time to watch the sun rise over the Manhattan skyline. If you look closely, you can see the Empire State Building with the sun just behind it. The tall building to the right is the Freedom Tower. It is being built on the site where the World Trade Center towers stood.

We're waiting to board our flight - isn't this exciting?!

Time to board the plane!

Yours in flatness and love,
Flat Kathy

        1. Oh, that is good to hear, Patty. Why is it called the Big Apple? I’ve heard Americans refer to that before, but I don’t know what it means. Do you?

Hmm…. I don’t know whether any of my blog readers or followers live in New York. But you know what? I think I should try to find one! Do you know anyone in New York, Patty?
